XBCrafted then commissioned EthosLab to install anvil droppers and distraction armour stands that popped up at random timing. The choice of weapons encompassed both long-ranged (bow and arrow) and short-ranged (melee sword). Barricades and trapdoors were provided for attack, defense and stealth. Almost akin to IRL combat training grounds, the arena had uneven topography to allow upper, lower and underground traverse. In conjunction with ZombieCleo's Head Games, xBCrafted designed a PVP arena near his base. This prompted xBCrafted to partner with BdoubleO100, who redesigned it as a steam-punk shop in return for 50:50 ownership. The Red Zone was later relocated to the corner of the island after the Town Hall was built behind it. The architecture took the form of a Minecraft redstone repeater. XBCrafted's first and only shop of the season was the Red Zone, a redstone shop. He also commissioned ImpulseSV to transport guardians into his base. This base was complete with storage and roof top garden. Sculpted as a disk, this futuristic base of white, grey and orange concrete hovered above the zombie-infested town. XBCrafted designed his megabase to be embedded in an existing floating mountain structure. As a final touch to his post-apocalyptic vision, he commissioned ZombieCleo to create armour stand scenes. Keeping true to his vision of zombie invasion, these “new” facilities were designed with dilapidated looks. He even tested his design pragmatism by roleplaying as a survivor, emulating the daily activities and possible zombie encounters. Part of the storyline introduced the "contaminant" of the new Nether textures of warped and crimson, with the unusual colors and textures being used to illustrate the "infection zones". Following the invasion storyline, xBCrafted mapped out a survival campsite. This was held in the form of an anonymous competition, eventually won by Cubfan135 via fan votes.Īs for the town, it was complete with infrastructure and other facilities (high-rise buildings, water treatment center, gas station, playground, prison, etc).
Here, xBCrafted invited other Hermits to build their unique version of post-apocalyptic houses. He also laid out another housing area, ' Hermit Hollows'. XBCrafted started by developing an existing savanna village, naming it 'Casa'. Throughout the season, xBCrafted had raised an entire town of various zones (residential, industrial, outskirts etc). This procured a teasing comment from Keralis that xBCrafted playing on a different server, “in a galaxy far, far away.”
xBCrafted realised this concept in the shattered savanna biome (10,000 blocks away from spawn and other Hermits). XBCrafted's overarching idea was a “zombie post-apocalyptic” themed base. XBCrafted didn't play very actively, mainly only streaming at the beginning of the season. You can help the Hermitcraft Wiki by adding missing information. He was shown to possibly have had a subscription to the Season 4 revival of the Hermiton Herald, or at least a free trial. However, he became burnt out after the first few days of the season and left. XBCrafted was present for the beginning of Season 4, but only posted two episodes, where he built an abstract suburban house near ImpulseSV, where he had trapped an evoker in a minecart. He also was the first to set up a guardian shop, which also (probably) inspired ImpulseSV's season 7 guardian shop. Unlike other Hermits setting up guardian farms, he didn't tear out the whole structure, but he built with it to use it as both a farm and base. He was the first Hermit to claim a guardian temple, which ended up being his main base. He only posted eight Season 2 videos before the season ended.
